David was first admitted as a solicitor in 1988 and initially worked for the New South Wales Director of Public Prosecutions as a solicitor. David entered into practice with King Cain Solicitors of Bathurst where he conducted a litigation based practice which grew to be predominantly family law focused. David developed links with a number of support groups within the community and also acted on behalf of government departments including the Department of Community Services in the Children's Court.
In 1995 David moved to Cronulla where he has conducted a predominantly family law focused practice and became an Accredited Specialist in that area in 1999. David has a broad experience in conducting sometimes complex matters in the family law area including those matters involving children, property, maintenance, child support and de-facto relationship matters and he regularly appears in courts exercising jurisdiction in those areas.
As well as specialising in family law, David has considerable experience in criminal law acting in matters ranging from driving offences, apprehended violence and assaults to very serious criminal matters.
